CHANGES TO UK VISA SALARY RULES: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The UK has introduced significant changes to the salary requirements for visa applicants under its points-based system (PBS), effective from 11 April 2024.

To qualify for a work visa, applicants must now secure a job offer with a minimum salary of £38,700, a substantial increase of nearly 50% from the previous threshold of £26,200.

The updated salary requirement does not apply to certain professions, including:
